Privacy policy

What we collect on this website, why, and who handles it. Last updated October 25, 2026.

This policy covers the website at patronuscyber.com, operated by Patronus Cyber Solutions, LLC ("Patronus," "we," "us"). It does not cover information we handle for customers while providing services to them. That information is governed by our agreements with those customers.

Information you give us

If you use the contact form, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, company, what you are contacting us about, and your message. If you call or email us, we receive whatever you share with us that way.

Please do not put passwords, payment card numbers, or other sensitive details in the form or in an email to us. We will never ask for them there.

Information collected automatically

Like any website, this one is served by a hosting provider whose systems record basic technical information about each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the date and time. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure, and troubleshoot problems.

We also use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and visits. It does not use cookies and does not follow you across other websites, so it runs for every visitor regardless of your cookie choices.

This site loads its fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, Google receives your IP address and browser details under Google's own privacy policy.

Cookies and tracking

When you first visit, a banner asks for your choice. Analytics and marketing are off unless you allow them, and nothing from Google or Meta is loaded before you do. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

  • Essential. We remember your choice in your browser's local storage so we do not ask again on every page. This stays in your browser.
  • Analytics (optional). Google Analytics 4 sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier. It tells us which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are located, and what kind of device and browser they use. We look at this in aggregate to improve the site. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.
  • Marketing (optional). The Meta Pixel sets a cookie named _fbp and tells Meta which pages you viewed and whether you contacted us. We use that to measure how our Facebook and Instagram advertising performs, and Meta may use it to show you more relevant ads. Meta processes this data under its own privacy policy.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a decision to keep marketing cookies off. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them.

How we use information

  • To answer your questions and follow up on requests for a checkup or a quote
  • To provide services you ask for and keep reasonable business records
  • To protect the site and the contact form from spam and abuse

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Who handles it for us

We rely on a few service providers to run the site and handle messages. Each processes information under its own terms and only to provide its service to us.

  • Vercel hosts the website.
  • Resend delivers contact form messages to us as email.
  • Microsoft provides our email, where messages are received and stored.
  • Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used on the site.
  • Google provides Google Analytics, only if you allow analytics cookies.
  • Meta provides the Meta Pixel, only if you allow marketing cookies.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it or when needed to protect our rights, our customers, or the security of our systems.

How long we keep it

We keep messages and business correspondence for as long as we need them to respond to you, provide services, and maintain our business records, and then we delete or archive them.

Security

The website and contact form use encrypted connections (HTTPS), and the contact form includes protections against spam and abuse. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can ask us what information of yours we hold from the contact form or our correspondence, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will review your request.

Other sites and children

Our pages link to other sites, such as our social media pages and our customer service desk. Those sites have their own privacy practices. This website is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes to this policy
