Network security and device discovery
Knowing exactly what is connected to your network and protecting the network itself with properly configured controls.
What it is
Network security protects the connections between your devices, the internet, and each other. Device discovery builds and maintains an inventory of everything attached to the network: computers, printers, cameras, phones, and the forgotten equipment that shows up in a scan.
We also review how the network is organized and monitored so a problem on one device is harder to spread to the rest.
Why it matters for small and midsize businesses
You cannot protect what you do not know exists. Small offices collect unmanaged devices over time, like a personal laptop, an old printer, or a smart TV. These often run default settings and give an attacker a quiet place to start.
An accurate inventory also helps with insurance questions, compliance work, and planning replacements.
Where it fits
Managed Security includes everything in Advanced Security, plus:
- 24/7 managed detection and response (MDR/SOC) A security operations center that watches your environment around the clock, investigates alerts, and helps contain real threats.
- Network security and device discovery Knowing exactly what is connected to your network and protecting the network itself with properly configured controls.
- Vulnerability management and remediation tracking Regularly scanning for known weaknesses, ranking what matters most, and tracking each fix until it is closed.
